Misunderstanding of Reverse Osmosis System
There are many different water purification equipment on the market, including reverse osmosis water system(RO), soft water system, Underground water filter system, etc.. Reverse osmosis system is one of the choices for household. But there are still many misunderstanding message about RO water, let Aqua-Win decipher them one by one for you.
1. RO system removes all minerals from water
One such misunderstanding is that RO systems remove all minerals from water, making it tasteless and unhealthy. It is true that RO systems can remove some minerals from water, such as calcium and magnesium in water. This is because these minerals will causes pipe blockage and lime scale. In fact, people get these minerals from daily diet and do not need to rely on their drinking water as a primary source.
2. Wasting too much water
Another common misunderstanding is that RO systems waste a lot of water. RO systems do generate some waste water during the filtration process, while waste water contains too much impurities and it is not suitable for drinking. Modern RO systems are designed to be highly efficient, minimizing waste and produce more clean water.
3. Difficult of maintenance
It is also a misunderstanding that RO systems require a lot of complicated maintenance. RO systems do require a periodic maintenance, such as filter replacement and water quality test. Both these maintenance required generally less technical and it can even be done by user.
